Michele Ganiko

Associate Director of Events

Formally an Event assistant and Events manager, Michele is truly an expert when it comes to planning events for customers. From weddings to proms, to corporate and social events, Michele puts her heart and soul into making each event both successful and memorable. As Associate Director of Events, she oversees a very talented and invaluable group of event experts. She believes her team is what makes each event so special. Michele has been with Hyatt Regency Waikiki for 30 years and was recently named Leader of the Year in 2022.

Hanako Lemelle

Event Sales Manager

Hanako has been part of the Hyatt family for 16 years all at Hyatt Regency Waikiki. Over the years, she has been part of exceptional event team to deliver memorable events and worked with numerous corporate clients.

Vy Lieu

Event Sales Manager

Vy began her career with Hyatt in 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. She started as an assistant and was promoted to Event Sales Manager. She has a passion for connecting with guests and creating memorable events.

Han Nguyen

Event Planning Manager

With Hyatt since 2018, Han has been in her current role since 2022. She has held several positions within the Rooms Operations Division before joining the Events team.

Pearl Ragonton-Domingo

Administrative Assistant

Pearl has been part of the Hyatt Regency Waikiki as the Events Assistant / Key Op for 27-years. She has been nominated several times in her career to the Ho’ohanohano Team and enjoys being part of her team.. her ‘Ohana!

Tai Hirose

Event Planning Manager

Tai started his Hyatt career in 2002 and his events career started 15 years ago. He continues to deliver exceptional events and service groups with care.
